Wandering Pawz Sanctuary is a rescue for petz of all species, great and small. No matter what the situation may be - you simply have too many petz, you have petz that aren't getting the attention they deserve, breeding projects "gone wrong", retired show and stud petz - the reason doesn't matter. The petz are all welcome to be brought into the Wandering Pawz Sanctuary. There doesn't have to be a reason you send your petz to us, you can simply send any petz you'd like to have a chance at a loving, fulfilled life that you feel you can not provide at the time.

So, now you know what the Wandering Pawz Sanctuary is. You probably would like to know what makes this rescue so special. Well, let's take a gander.

1. We offer a rescue for all species of petz from versions 3-5. We will take in any species (a.k.a. any breedfile), so long as you either send the breedfile along with your petz you send in or a link where the breedfile can be downloaded.
2. The petz will actually get played with, brushed, fed, watered, and socialized with other petz. I should elaborate. When I open up my petz game, it is my time to relax, to let myself unwind from whatever it is I was doing before. Petz time is like my meditation. Although, yes, the petz are not "real", I love them as if they were, as I do not have any pets in real life of my own. If you are willing to send your petz to Wandering Pawz Sanctuary, they will truly be cared for.
3. Space is not an issue. After the statement above, you're probably thinking, well, what are you going to do when petz owners from all over the web send you a million petz files. I can assure you, I have 280GB awaiting their arrival, and that doesn't count flash drives that I've collected over the years. Of course, the little petz souls do not take up a lot of space to begin with!
4. Petz will be put up for adoption as they are being loved and cared for here at the sanctuary. If for some reason a petz is not getting adopted, it will simply remain at the sanctuary to spend its days happily.
5. Like mentioned before - although petz are not "real", if you feel anything like me, you get attached to them as if they were alive, with little paws pitter-pattering around your feet. Wandering Pawz Sanctuary understands that it may sometimes be a bit emotional to part with your feathered, furred, or scaled friend. Upon your request, you can have weekly updates on the petz you surrender to us. Once your petz is adopted out to a new home, it will then be the new owner's decision to keep in touch with you or not.
6. New owners are screened within reason before they adopt petz from Wandering Pawz Sanctuary. You can view the adoption form for further detail. If for some reason the petz does not work out at his or her new home, they are always asked to be returned to us.
